The ‘Inman Aligner’, recently developed in the United States, is a unique device which focuses on straightening your front teeth which are visible to people when you smile. It has 3 main advantages over traditional braces:
It is removable, so for meetings, parties or dates you can take it out for a couple of hours
The process takes about 3 months as opposed to years for traditional metal braces
It costs a small fraction of the cost of conventional metal braces.
‘Invisible Braces’ are another new technique to straighten teeth with clear shields, for example ‘Clearstep’ or ‘Invisalign’ systems. Whilst the Inman aligner only addresses the front teeth, clear shields straighten all the teeth, and although both cost and time scales are the same as conventional metal braces, they are also popular as they are practically invisible over the course of your treatment.
