TEETH STRAIGHTENING - The new options from Redmond Molloy

Most people like the idea of having straighter teeth but are often put off because of the drawbacks of conventional brace treatments. Committing to an ‘Ugly Betty’ look is definitely not a popular one for adults, never mind the length of treatment time, sometimes over 2 years. Redmond Molloy have listened to their patients and improved things and two of the new developments in this area include the Inman Aligner and invisible braces and asthetic brackets for conventional braces.

The ‘Inman Aligner’,  developed in the United States, is a unique device which focuses on straightening your front teeth which are visible to people when you smile. It has 3 main advantages over traditional braces:

It is removable, so for meetings, parties or dates you can take it out for a couple of hours

The process takes usually about 3 months as opposed to  2 years for traditional braces

It costs a small fraction of the cost of conventional braces €1700 and after tax relief at 20% it is €1385.

The Inman aligner addresses predominately only front teeth crowding, and it is not a total substitutefor traditional braces, there are many alternatives to the conventional metal braces, we now have clear brackets and instead of metal wires we have very strong elastics that are tooth coloured and very discrete, these are much more popular as they are practically invisible over the course of your treatment.
